Three months ago we started partnering with another Pastor in the digital space that we minister in. After a few months of walking alongside this individual we started to become aware of some pretty big theological differences.
In light of those differences we have had many hours of conversations around them and ultimately landing on the decision to terminate the partnership.
By Gods grace He has introduced us to another family that is closer aligned with the doctrines of Scripture that we believe and teach. He has already been such a huge asset to the ministry – meeting with some individuals that were in need of some soul care.
Had it not been for this conflict – I don’t think I would of met this other brother in Christ.
However, in light of the conflict with the Pastor some others from his digital community have been upset. False information, Slander, Gossip and more have continued to be spread by some of them trying to stir up trouble.
Ultimately, I think people are upset that we are speaking up against false doctrine and calling people towards the truth of Gods word. We want people to take their doctrine & faith seriously.
Doctrine matters. Good Doctrine matters even more.
It shapes our Theology of God and impacts the way we live in relation to Him.
The past few weeks have been quite stressful. I have not been sleeping very well and find myself juggling a lot of important conversations. I am thankful for the work God has given me. Its a Holy Work.
In light of some of these challenges pray for the comfort of Christ to be with me.
Pray that I would not lose heart from doing that which is true and right.
Pray that I remain bold in the gospel.
Pray that I would be filled w/ joy towards meeting others and sharing the truth.
Also… I have been working really hard to get this site up and running.
Excited to see the progress and vision for it coming to life.
