On Wednesday, 6/25, Raven and I surprised Ro with a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. We got to spend about an hour with her, chatting and being there with her to share her fears, hurts, and frustrations. We smiled together and talked about good things.
Today, 7/1, very early in the morning, Ro passed away.
She was so loved and is already deeply missed.
She was poured into by several Christ followers for years. She has been prayed over by so many of you and other brothers and sisters in Christ. We don’t know what decision she made regarding her eternity, but we know her family follows Islam.
Pray for her parents as they grieve the loss of their oldest child, 16 years young. Pray for her 2 younger siblings. Pray for her friends, neighbors, and teachers.
Thank you for all of the ways you have prayed for this family! We praise God that we have a good relationship with them. Ask for us to have wisdom in caring for, grieving with, and walking alongside them in this tough time.
